Boundaries And Structure To Facilitate Growth

It’s Season is Spring, bringing a rising of energy from the depths of Winter’s deepest Yin. This change is often noticed with the temperate climate, and it’s partner, the transformational wind. As the shoots & sprouting plants break free of the earth’s soil, they reach directly up towards the warmth of the Sun’s rays never thinking of any other direction. They have but one purpose: To grow.

Liver ‘The Planner’

The Liver, with the Heart’s connection to Source, gives us our purpose. Once we know this life-long direction, this ‘Official’ puts a plan in place. With its vision (eyes), creativity and flexibility(ligaments and tendons); it’s more like several plans, just in case the first four don’t work out. It then sends all this information to the Gall Bladder for making all the decisions to get us to the end goal.

Also known as ‘The Architect’, or ‘the General’, the Liver is well versed in birthing new projects, keeping the long view always in its sight. One might even say re-birth, otherwise known as renewal, in its purview.

Gall Bladder ‘Decision Maker’

The Gall Bladder, with it’s connection to the Liver, has clarity of our purpose, and in this knowing, makes every decision in dedication to that. This allows for adaptation through creativity and alternative plans into action, so the purpose is still realized. This is the only ‘official’ that works with ‘pure’ essence. This is important for making wise decisions. ‘Choice’ – otherwise known as autonomy, agency and freedom – are this officials domain. It is through coordination with our physical, mental and emotional capabilities, that our Spirit speaks.

Blood brothers at birth, these two Officials are united in their task of bringing a sense of growth, purpose and hope to our lives.
